Daniel Fast Training for Your Church

If your church is planning on participating in the Daniel Fast in 2012, you can expect God to move powerfully among you. I personally experienced such a time of supernatural unity when my church, James River Assembly, held our first Daniel Fast in September 2009.

Our pastor, John Lindell, invited the congregation to join him and the leadership team in a 21-day fast as we prepared to launch our second location in Republic, Missouri. We believed that God was leading us to minister to this area of town but also recognized that we desperately needed His help. For three weeks, we prayed fervently, asking God to go before us and give us favor.

God certainly did more than we could have asked for or even imagined as a result! More than 2,000 people came to the first service for the Wilsons Creek Campus! We were certainly overwhelmed by God's response to our prayers.
My prayer is that your church experiences the Lord in a miraculous way as you seek Him. I would love the opportunity to visit to encourage you and help you prepare for your Daniel Fast. Members will receive the practical tools needed to make the fast more effective. Most of all, they will be motivated and well equipped as they begin their 3-week journey with the Lord.
Following is what you can expect in my Daniel Fast Church Training Session. I will:

1) Define fasting.
2) Look at the different types of fasts.
3) Discuss reasons for fasting.
4) Examine various examples of fasts in the Bible.
5) Learn about the Daniel Fast and how it is based upon the prophet Daniel's fasting experiences.
6) Identify ways to prepare physically and spiritually for the fast.
7) Realize the importance of combining prayer and fasting during the Daniel Fast.

Contact me for more information and to schedule your training session. I look forward to meeting your church family!
