Any recipe suggestions for turnips? I purchased a couple and don't know what to do with them.

I actually have that on my list of foods to post! You can boil and mash them like potatoes, and then top with sauteed onions. Or, you can dice them and add to a vegetable soup. I'm a big fan of roasting vegetables, and turnips are really good that way. Cut 1# of turnips into bite size pieces, and add about 1 TB olive oil. You can flavor them with basil, rosemary, garlic, pepper, etc. and a little salt. Cook at 400 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, or until lightly blackened.

I hope this gives you some ideas. I'll try to post a formal recipe soon! Thanks for your question. :)

Thanks for the ideas. I roasted some tonight with exactly what you had listed and they were very delish. I also put some in the vegetable bean soup. Instead of squash, I used turnips. I am truly loving this website. Once I complete the fast, I will continue to eat this way, I will add fish and some chicken on occasions.

Thank you for allowing God to use you to bless so many.
